This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

100% recommend Chai Pani. The entire staff was attentive and enthusiastic. They truly wanted us to have a great experience. Our order was taken and served within 10 minutes. My friend and I are both vegetarian. We had the vada pav, pav bhaji, saag paneer with cumin basmati rice, and peach bhel. Every single dish was perfectly spiced, well portioned, and piping hot off the stove. Absolutely fantastic experience. Recommend it to everyone, even the specials.

This place has received rave reviews and is a favorite among locals. We decided to try some other dishes. We started with the spdp, which included dhai puri and chilli chicken. The spdp was an absolute flavor explosion. My taste buds were delighted by the freshness and the perfect balance of flavors. The chilli chicken was good, but not the best Iβve ever had. The meat was juicy and had a nice hint of Indian spices. Overall, we had a great time. The service and ambiance were excellent.

Went for a quick evening snack. The Gobi 65 was crunchy and flavorful at the same time. The chicken kathi roll was yummy with well cooked tender chicken. The Disco Bhel had multiple different textures and was fun to eat. The Shrimp karahi curry that comes with rice is yummy and filling. Samosa chaat was very good as well. Chai was ok. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying other items!

Wonderful meal at Chai Pani! We came as a group and ordered the SDPC, Gobhi 65, Veg Thali, Non-Veg Thali, Keema Pav, and an Uttapam for the kids β every dish was full of flavor and beautifully spiced. The Gobhi 65 was crispy and addictive, the thalis were generous and well-balanced, and the Keema Pav was rich and comforting. Even the kids loved their uttapam! Authentic, flavorful food and a great spot for families and groups. Weβll definitely be back.

Friends recommended this restaurant which was a ways out of Midtown ATL but it was well worth the trip. There was a short wait for an table and in the meantime, we ordered drinks and pani puri which is served right in the waiting area. It was delicious. We ordered what our friend recommended and he hit the nail on the head. I had a tamarind margarita that I highly recommend and my wife had iced chai tea. The food was great, came out fast and we shared every dish. We sat in their outdoor seating and it was quite comfortable even in a downpour of rain. Weβll definitely return when we visit Atlanta again!
